Awakening

Painting depicting the tragedy of a society lost in the screen world and the possibility of awakening from it. We are hiding our true faces behind our various profiles on social media websites. Through social media and the screen world, we feel we can steer people's perception of us and in that way only show an ideal self of ourselves to the wold. In truth however, this artificial face, is flat and void of all real life aspects. Behind the screens we have become mere phantoms.

Everyone has to liberate themselves from this situation.
