Wound, open, 2000
A wall sculpture which almost completely disappears when it is closed. When open it gives free access to anyone who cares to enter. As the opening is like a gaping wound on her back she can’t defend herself. Inside the sculpture is warm and cozy and even has handles and a comforting mouth piece to please the visitor. Materials: Leather, polyester filling: 33.5 x 15 x 22″ Photo taken in collaboration with David Byun.
